FEMA providing trailers for Erskine fire victims

While California did not appeal FEMA's rejection to help victims of the deadly Erskine fire, some displaced by the fire may still get new homes.

The California office of emergency services will soon provide victims with 71 FEMA owned mobile homes that have never been used, ranging from one, to two and three bedrooms.

They're hoping to get the trailers on the ground in the Kern River Valley within the next four to six weeks.
