The April Ford Junior Youth of the Month will be awarded to a Stockdale Boys & Girls Club member on Friday.

The Ford Junior Youth of the Year program honors a Kern County Boys & Girls Club member for their leadership and service at school, home or with family and scholastic achievement with the consideration of any obstacles. 

The award will be presented at 4 p.m. at the Stockdale Club at 5207 Young Street, Suite 200.

Along with the award, a Ford Junior Youth of the Month T-shirt and a $50 Target giftcard will be given to the winner. A poster of the recipient will be on display at the Jim Burke Ford dealerships for May.

The Ford Junior Youth of the Year will be awarded a laptop at the end of the year celebration on May 18. The winner will also be displayed on a poster at the Jim Burke Ford dealerships this summer.
