Mercy Hospital is having the sixth annual graduation of its project 'Search' today.
The program is a year-long, unpaid internship, which takes place entirely in a hospital setting at either Mercy Downtown or Mercy Southwest. Graduates of the program are people with disabilities that gain self-sufficiency while being empowered to live their own lives in Bakersfield.
There are four graduates this year.
