Posted

The City of Bakersfield Animal Control Division would like to invite the community to a low cost vaccination, licensing and microchip clinic for dogs living within the city limits.

The clinic will be at Beale Park at 500 Oleander Avenue, on Saturday, March 5th, 2016, from 9:00 a.m. until noon.

Vaccinations offered: DAPP, Bordatella and rabies.

  • The DAPP vaccines are for puppies needing to begin their vaccination series or adult dogs needing booster shots.
  • The Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccine is usually required for admittance into boarding and grooming facilities.
  • Rabies vaccines can be given to puppies as young as 3 months of age as well as adult dogs. A dog license must be purchased in conjunction with the rabies vaccine.

The vaccines are offered at a reduced cost; however, all licensing fees are regular price. Microchips will be offered FREE to all city licensed dogs!
