The Bakersfield College swimming team will he hosting their third annual swim lesson event for kids in order to promote water and swim safety tomorrow, Saturday October 07, 2017. The free swim lessons will be held between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. at the Bakersfield College pool. 

The swim lessons are completely free of charge and are first come, first served. All parents who are interested have to do is fill out some paperwork upon arrival, sit and watch their kids learn. 

In order to take part in the swim lessons, children must be potty-trained. 

Swim lessons will be running on a continuous 30-minute cycle in order to teach as many kids as possible. 

After the swim lessons, the Bakersfield College swim team will be having a 6-hour relay in order to showcase each swimmer. Those who attend the swim lessons are encouraged to stay and watch.
