BAKERSFIELD, CA. — Bike Bakersfield will be hosting their monthly full moon bike ride tonight.

The group bike ride will start at Beach Park and go to the Marketplace.

Bikers will begin to ride at 7 p.m. but Bike Bakersfield urges everyone to get there earlier to receive free bike lights from BPD.

"My best advice is to warn people if you are going on their left and then actually go on their left," said Theresa Becker.

Becker has been doing the full moon ride for two years and is an active member of the bike community in Bakersfield.
