BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The city of Bakersfield is seeing a spike in numbers at the pump, according to the Auto Club of Southern California.
Gas price averages are racing towards $4 a gallon due to supply tightness caused by local refinery issues.
The auto club says the state-wide average is 12 cents higher than last week for a gallon of regular unleaded. In Bakersfield, the average price of gas is $3.78, six cents higher than last week.
