BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Gas prices continue to rise as businesses begin to open commuters begin to drive, the average price of gas rose 4 cents from last week to $2.92 according to the Automobile Club of Southern California.
“Yesterday’s inventory report from the Energy Information Administration shows increased stockpiles of gasoline supply nationwide, but there was a reduction in California inventory, according to the state energy commission, so we expect that prices will continue to gradually increase as long as demand increases,” said Auto Club spokesman Jeffrey Spring.
