BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Golden Empire Transit District has teamed up with several community partners to distribute food this Friday.

GET says the goal is to hand out food four times a year to impact lives of people who don't know where their next meal is coming from.

The event will also feature a Resource Fair with several area organizations.

The food distribution starts at 9 a.m. on Friday, April 12 at 22nd and Eye Streets in Downtown Bakersfield.
