If you need your car's emissions tested or smog repaired, there's an event going on at the Kern County Fairgrounds on Saturday where you can get that done for free.

Tune In and Tune Up is happening today from 6:30 a.m. to noon. The event helps car owners take action to improve our air quality by taking care of expensive smog repairs.If you've had your car for at least six months, you may qualify for free smog repairs.

The first 525 drivers will receive emissions testing. Anyone who fails the smog test will receive a $500 voucher to get repairs at a local shop.

In addition to the testing, there will also be music, food and vendor booths.
