BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Hall Ambulance has deployed a strike team to assist with efforts in the CZU Lightening Complex Fire burning in Santa Cruz.
California Emergency Medical Services Authority requested the assistance of local EMS agencies across the state, including Kern County.
Various crews left Saturday afternoon in five ambulances to stage in Aptos, California.
Each crew consists of a paramedic, an emergency medical technician and a state-issued disaster medical supply unit (DMSU), staffed by a paramedic field supervisor.
