Mike Hart has been with 23ABC for nearly three decades. He even has a park named after him behind our TV station, 'Mike Hart Park'.

"Right about the end of my first contract, I met Lori. So I signed an extension. We got engaged. I signed an extension. We got married and pregnant with Michael. I signed an extension. And I signed an extension. And 27 years later... this is our home," Hart said.

Mike says he has learned a lot in his 27 years with KERO, but one of the big lessons is “being able to just laugh at you. Most of the time people take things way too seriously."

When asked if he is planning on retiring anytime soon, he laughed.

"I literally said this one time. Someone said, 'So, how long are you going to do this?' And I said, 'As long as they'll have me.'"

"My son teases me and says, 'You're probably going to be a Walmart greeter when you get really old.' And I said, ‘Do you mean in a few years? Is that what you're saying to me?’" Mike said.

And his final piece of advice?

"Really think about your hair in television."
