BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Houchin Community Blood Bank will be hosting a Star Wars Day event on Saturday where participants can receive a limited edition Houchin Star Wars Life Saver t-shirt by donating blood!
Blood donors will also be able to enjoy a chorizo nacho bar and desserts at both locations from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Appointments are booked, but the blood bank says they will be taking walk-ins on a first come first served basis.
T-shirt quantity is limited and preferred sizes may not be available.
Attendees at the Bolthouse Donor Center will be able to meet Star Wars characters from the San Joaquin Squad of the 501st Legion and enjoy Brazil hot dogs from noon to 2 p.m.
