An accident involving two vehicles near 10500 Alfred Harrell Highway around 4:16 p.m. Wednesday injured seven people.

The driver of a Mazda sedan suffered moderate to major injuries and was transported to the local hospital. Four additional passengers were transported to the hospital for minor to moderate injuries.

The driver and passenger of the Ford truck received minor injuries.

The driver of the Mazda, 29-year-old Roger Davison, was driving erratically and made an illegal U-Turn in front of the truck.

Davison was arrested for driving under the influence of an alcoholic beverage causing injury and child endangerment.
