TEHACHAPI, Calif. — Kern County Fire Department were dispatched to the Tehachapi area after receiving an emergency signal of a downed aircraft in the mountains Friday.

According to KCFD, they started their search in the Tehachapi area then moved north, near Walker Basin. The crew was eventually cleared after their search moved them farther south to Los Angeles County.

FAA also told 23ABC that they received a similar report of an accident near Agua Dulce.

FAA and KCFD says no aircraft incidents have been located.
