UPDATE (7:04AM): Kern County Fire Department confirms that they have put out the fire and it only got to 10 acres.
The fire is 100 percent contained.
Kern County Fire Department is responding to a 1st alarm wild fire being called the Plant Fire near I-5 near Laval.
