This morning, the county coroners office is working to identify a body that was recovered in the Kern River Tuesday night.
According to KCSO, search and rescue teams found a body in the Keyesville area near Lake Isabella around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday night.
Earlier this month, group of rafters saw what appeared to be body in the Kern River on Saturday June 3rd in that area but they're not sure if this body is connected to that incident.
Deputies are investigating this incident and are not sure how the body ended up in the river.
