Officials with the Kern High School District said that they received a bomb threat at North High School at around 1:10 pm, during their lunch hour.But within minutes, it was determined it was not credible.
KHSD officials said the school was never on lockdown when it happened and no one was evacuated and the school is secure.
Officials added that they resumed school hours when it was determined it wasn't a hoax.
KCSO is currently investigating the case.
