On June 14, 2017, at approximately 1:00 a.m., the Kern County Sheriff's Office received a report that a 93 year old woman, who suffers from Alzheimer's and dementia, was missing from her residence in the 2100 block of Alexander Avenue in Rosamond.

After searching unsuccessfully for about an hour, patrol deputies requested the assistance of the Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue Unit.
