Keep Bakersfield Beautiful is looking to give the downtown area, along with the auto mall, a facelift. Jessica Felix, the coordinator of Keep Bakersfield Beautiful, detailed in a Facebook post what the organization is looking for.
She said KBB is looking for artists to paint murals on traffic control boxes downtown and in the auto mall.
The post says, "KBB will provide a $400 stipend for each utility box mural approved and complete."
