Kern County Department of Human Services extend work from home order to June 1

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Kern County Department of Human Services has extended their work from home order for non-essential employees to June 1.

Employees were expected to come back to work on Monday May 18.

When asked where the decision came from the Department of Services said, "The Kern County Department of Human Services is phasing in the return of our employees, in line with the direction provided to us by the county. This will be based on situational needs and our department’s readiness plan. We are not able to respond to the plans for other county departments. "
