KERN COUNTY, Calif. — We are less than a week away from all the fair food and live entertainment that the Kern County Fair has to offer. There will be some big attractions this year.
On opening night Kern County will be getting hot in here as Nelly takes the stage. Next Friday is Senior Day and anyone 62 years or older will get in for free and park for free until 4 p.m. Monday, September 23rd is Marvelous Monday and which means you can get into the fair for $5 until 9 p.m. and it's also 23ABC night.

The fair gets underway next Wednesday and 23ABC News will be live that day starting with our morning newscasts and then again at 11 a.m. followed by the 5, 6 and 7 p.m. newscasts.
