UPDATED 6:00 p.m.

Crews have stopped the progression of the fire at 33 acres.

KCFD says they found a 10-acre fire just after 10:10 a.m. in the area of Bodfish Canyon and Jordan Rd. The blaze had a moderate rate of spread and was being spread by wind in the area.

The fire is expected to be fully contained by Monday morning. KCFD says the blaze may have been started near a shooting range, saying "remember: ricocheted bullets can ignite a wildfire in dry vegetation."

Fire investigators are asking for the public's help with identifying the driver of a car seen leaving the area around the time the fire was reported. If you have any information, call 1-877-FIRETIP. A photo of the vehicle can be seen at the top of this article.
