Holiday fires are one of the biggest dangers this time of year and local companies want to make sure you stay safe.
Cooking, lighting equipment, and candles are among the top causes of holiday fires.
So officials, with PG & E and the Kern County Fire Department will demonstrate the common holiday fire safety hazards and how to prevent them as well.
The event takes place today at Fire Station 61 on 6400 Fruitvale Avenue at 11:00 a.m.
