BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – This morning, Kern Medical is celebrating the opening of its new 34th Street location with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
The new location will be home to Kern Medical's REACH and GROW Clinics.
The REACH clinic is a patient-centered medical home, serving as a one-stop shop for medically fragile patients. It provides patients with access to a pharmacist, doctor, nurse, social worker and other services in order to give comprehensive health care. The new GROW Clinic provides team-based medical and behavioral health care to patients with the greatest need.
The ribbon cutting ceremony will host speakers from Kern Medical, Kern Behavioral Health and Recovery Services, and Kern Health Systems.
The event is set to begin at 11 a.m. at 820 34th Street, Suite 202.
