Kern County and Bakersfield Fire Fighters are working to control a fire at the taco shop La Costa del Sol on South Union Avenue.

Now this taco shop is located on S. Union and Panama Road and started just before 3 a.m. 

There are about 9 fire trucks in total some from the Bakersfield Fire Department and some from the Kern County Fire Department. 

And about 40 plus fire personal working to put this fire out. 

There was no one inside the building and no injuries have been reported. 

Fire started inside and crews are still working to have it fully contained. 

They still working to put out hot spots and monitoring the fire. 

The California Highway Patrol has shut down southbound traffic in the area.

It's not known what caused the blaze.
