Las Vegas first responder, Glen Simpson, was inside of the venue when shots rang out on Sunday October 1, 2017 at the Route 91 country music festival.

"I ran into the venue, I dived behind a bar, immediately I switched the radio channel from our operations channel to the dispatch channel and advise them that shots were being fired, I had multiple patients" Simpson said. "The hardest part is looking somebody in the face when they say 'please do CPR' and I have to look at them and say 'no', that's the hardest part" he added.

Simpson was on duty when the shots began and immediately sprung into action to help those that were injured.
