Talladega Frights holds a haunted house here in Bakersfield with a scary legend to go with it.
Visitors can walk through the Beacon Point State Hospital, where they say patients are waiting for all visitors. It is said to be abandoned with patients and staff thought to be dead . This state hospital was a place of experimentation and fear. It is said that these stories that came out of this place are what horror movies are made of.
Sunday is the last chance to visit Talladega Frights. They open at 7 p.m. and close at 10 p.m.
