After 40 years, a popular tennis club in Southwest Bakersfield is closing next month.
Laurel Glen Tennis and Health Club on 6901 Ming Avenue will close its doors on April 30. It was the first tennis club on the west side of town.
In-Shape is set to take over the Ming location and will provide its members with an upgrade beginning April 1st. This will enable them to join other In-Shape facilities or cancel their memberships by the end of April.
The company’s focus is renovating its other locations in town.
