On Thanksgiving morning more than 100,000 meals will be provided to more than 6,000 families in Kern County.
Local churches and community members have been working to prepare and offer up the meals that will be served at the Costco on Rosedale Highway.
This is the ninth year of the "Love for Thanksgiving" event.
