BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — While most people are on the hunt for eggs during the Easter season, The Lice Clinics of America in Bakersfield will be hunting head lice.
For its fourth annual Great Lice Egg Hunt, the clinic is offering free head lice screenings and treatment using their AirAllé heated-air technology.
According to the LCA, they've seen a 30% increase in lice activity nationwide this past winter.
The event is expected to educate families about the lice life cycle in addition to passing out free detection combs and Easter goodies.
To receive the complimentary services families can visit the clinic at 2920 F Street, Suite G9 in Bakersfield on Saturday, April 13 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
