People gathered outside of the Rabobank Arena hoping to come together as a city after a polarizing election.
There was live music, speakers, and prayer sessions throughout the night, along with hot chocolate and cookies.
Different groups from around Bakersfield did not want to miss out on this night of reflection and made a point of being present.
People at the event told 23ABC, they would like more events like these to happen in the future.
