Local teachers at Charles H. Castle Elementary School will be getting a surprise when they receive computer kits and other much needed school supplies. 

The teachers are set to get this surprise today, Friday October 27, 2017  at 9:30 a.m. during the school's grand open house event for a new engineering lab.

During the surprise students will also be launching their rocket experiments, which they finished during class. 

In order to develop the engineering lab, Chevron donated $80,000 last year. Teachers will be learning about Chevron's plans to fund all of Castle Elementary's teacher classroom projects.
