News of the Blaze leaving town was especially tough for season ticket holder Kenneth Eddy.
Eddy started going to Blaze games more than four decades ago and has been a season ticket holder since 1990.
The team is not only special to him but also to his family. Eddy met his wife at Sam Lynn and got married at home plate.
Eddy is mostly quiet during the game, always concentrated on the action and says his love for the game has even forced him to consider moving out of Bakersfield.
Throughout the years, Eddy says he has seen it all, including a no hitter and meeting players that went on to the majors like Mike piazza and Pedro Martinez.
Eddy will get to see one more game on Monday when the Blaze face off against Visalia.
