BAKERSFIELD, CA. — The students of Kern High School District's MADE program will be showcasing their mobile apps to industry leaders today.

The MADE program stands for mobile app development education. It has been around for three years, but this is the first year they hold a showcase.

22 students in four groups will show thei mobile apps to industry professionals that will give them feedback.

"I think it's good for them to get feedback so they know what professionals are looking for," Walter Suazo, MADE teacher.

From games to prescription apps, these students have put months of work into the app development, graphic design and digital marketing of the apps.
