Magdalene Hope has launched their Blue Bucket Toy Drive for the 2018 "Toy's for Tijuana" and "Christmas on Union." They partnered with Bob Prater, founder of "Christmas on Union" for the latter.

The organization encourages anyone who wants to donate, to drop off a new, unwrapped toy that costs between $10 and $15.

You can make a donation at the following donation sites: Imbibe Wine & Spirits, Luigi's Restaurant & Deli, Rusty's Pizza Parlor on Bernard Street, Auburn Street and Wible Road, Byrdies Bake Shop, Five & Dime Antique Mall and The River Church.

All toys will benefit those children that live in the slums of Tijuana and in the hotels on and around Union Avenue in Bakersfield.

Toys will be collected through December 22.
