BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – A man is in police custody after he sexually assaulted a female student at the Bakersfield College campus on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Bakersfield College Department of Public Safety, the woman says the man approached her and began to grope her private parts. He threatened to take her to an isolated location and rape her.
The identity of the suspect has not been released yet. He is currently being held at the Kern County Jail.
