On Friday, June 16, 2017, at approximately 11:45 p.m., Party #1 was operating Vehicle #1 a, reported stolen Kawasaki KDX200), in the park area to the east of the Riverview Community Center located at 401 Willow Drive in Oildale.
Party #1 was traveling southbound at an undetermined high rate of speed, when for an unknown reason, Party #1 failed to see the guy-wires supporting a power pole.
Party #1 struck the guy-wire with his chest and sustained fatal injuries. Drugs and/or alcohol at the time of the collision are unknown pending medical report.
The Coroner identified the man killed as 23-year-old Brandon Michael Clark of Bakersfield. The cause and manner is still pending.
