Bakersfield Police are investigating a shooting at a Fastrip convenience store located at 34th and Q streets in central Bakersfield.
Police say they got the call around 7:45 p.m. about a man who had been shot outside the store. When officers got to the scene they located a victim who had been shot in the backside. The victim suffered moderate injuries and was taken the hospital.
