Matt Odom's family still looking for answers

As Matt Odom’s family prepares to celebrate what would have been his 31st birthday, his killer remains at large.

Odom was murdered, found stabbed to death on the front lawn of his southwest Bakersfield home in September of 2014. His murder remains unsolved.

Odom's family plans on celebrating his birthday tomorrow at his grave site at Greenlawn cemetery.

Matt's brother, Chris, insists he knows who the killers are. He thinks Matt's ex-wife is responsible . At the time of the murder they were going through a divorce and a custody battle.

23 ABC spoke to Matt's ex-wife, Sumers Holden on Thursday night. She said in a statement, "I would never do anything like that. I would never have anything to do with that. We're all hurting and we want the person to be found."

No one has never been arrested or charged in the case. The case became more complicated when the first detective on the case, Damacio Diaz was arrested and convicted of federal charges.

Matt’s brother says he remains confident that BPDwill find his brothers killer.
