BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — More than 50 charities, non-profits and organizations will take part in this year's Give Big Kern. Give Big Kern is a single day of giving to support those who help Bakersfield and Kern County through a day of donations.
Saturday many of those organizations will be at the California Living Museum, CALM, during the Give Big Kern Meet & Greet. Organizations from Mission at Kern County, Jason's Retreat Capistrano to Bike Bakersfield and Kern Athletic Fencing Foundation will have booths scattered throughout CALM.
During Saturday's event the organizations will have a chance to explain where and how donation dollars will help Bakersfield and Kern County. The meet and greet is open to anyone from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday at CALM.
