A representative from Kern law enforcement is traveling to Dallas today to honor the officers who lost their lives during the police ambush on Thursday, July 7.
The Kern Law Enforcement Agency released the following on Tuesday:
"Kern County law enforcement officers have felt the impact of the terrible tragedy that took place in Dallas, Texas on July 7. We mourn alongside our brothers and sisters in law enforcement and want to pay our respects to the brave officers who gave up their lives defending the public. These men left behind family, friends and fellow officers and we will show our support in the only way we know how - by showing up."
The Bakersfield Police Department also confirmed that they sent two officers to Dallas on Tuesday.
