More than 2,500 people without power in Northwest Bakersfield

More than 2,500 people are without power in Northwest Bakersfield, according to the Pacific Gas and Electric outage map.

Two outages are affecting customers. The first, located north of Stockdale Highway between Calloway Drive and Coffee Road, was reported at about 2:25 p.m. on Saturday and is impacting more than 1,100 people.

The second outage is found just to the east of the first outage, near the intersection of Mohawk Street and Truxtun Avenue and was reported at around 3:17 p.m. and is impacting more than 1,300 customers.

According to the PG&E website, the estimated restoration time is 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. It's unknown what caused the outage.
