BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — UPDATE (5:31 a.m.): Power has been restored to hundreds on Tuesday morning. According to PG&E, only about 262 customers are without power.
Power is expected to be fully restored by 7 a.m.
A power outage in East Bakersfield has left more than a thousand Pacific Gas & Electric customers without power Tuesday morning.
According to PG&E's outage center, the power outage was first reported at 3:56 a.m. According to PG&E, 1,004 customers in the area of Oswell Street and College Avenue are without power.
PG&E's website says full restoration is expected at 7 a.m.
It's not known what caused the outage.
