A new coffee shop is opening in Downtown Bakersfield this week.
Café Smitten will serve coffee, salads, and breakfast sandwiches.
The shop is located at 909 18th Street and will be open 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday. They will be open 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday and closed Sunday.
The café is owned by Shai and Stasie Bitton. Stasie is the daughter of Bakersfield’s Vice Mayor Bob Smith.
