A new draft for an ordinance to allow food trucks downtown has passed with a 5-0 vote.
The draft can come to the City Council as early as September 7.
The draft stated that food trucks would be allowed downtown and in some commercial and manufacturing zones from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday. In downtown, food trucks could operate from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m.
