Days after flooding impact roads in the Kern River Valley, the Kern County Superintendent of Schools said bus service will not be available to some schools in the area.

On Friday, there will be no bus service to the Bodfish and Havilah areas. Kern Valley High Schools is on a regular schedule.

The Superintendent of Schools alertline website says flooding in the roadways has led to interruption in bus transportation.
