According to officials, a lock-out has been lifted at both Cato Middle School and Fletcher Elementary School.
No details on what caused the lock-out but officials were able to clear both campuses and release students to their parents.

Bakersfield City School District officials have confirmed that there is a lockout at Cato Middle School and Fletcher Elementary School.
Both schools, which are both located on Highland Knolls Drive and Vineland Road have been on a lock-out since around 12:30 p.m. Thursday due to reported danger outside the campuses. According to officials, students and faculty are not being let outside the buildings until further notice.
