Posted

The One Book Project is using the '$2.00 A Day : Living on Almost Nothing in America' book by Kathryn J. Edin & H. Luke Shaefer to encourage the community to share experiences through discussion, educational programming, and entertainment.

The read is designed to bring the community closer and really enhance the understanding of diversity throughout the community. The read will end with an author talk and book read signing at the CSUB Icardo Center today, November 1, 2017.

The One Book Project began in 2001 making this year the 16th annual read.

The project is led by the Kern County Library and California State University Bakersfield.
