BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Bad news for drivers hitting the road, gas prices are on the rise in Bakersfield and around the state.
In the last week, Bakersfield gas prices have risen 7.4 cents per gallon which averages $3.50 per gallon. The cheapest price at the pump in Bakersfield is $3.07 per gallon while the most expensive is $4.19 per gallon.
According to Gas Buddy, California represented some of the largest weekly gains in gas prices across the nation. Here's a look at the lowest prices in the area:
